Paisley's for Hubbie

My husband, Fuzzy has loved paisleys since the 60's when he wore a paisley tie each day to Catholic High School. So for a surprise this year I created a piasley wall hanging for him with the blocks from the round robin I was in earlier this year. I could not find any black background paisley to surround the blocks, so I went with the peace sign motif.  A little busy for some people, but he loved it....

Rita's Jewels On Black Block

I just finished Rita's block today for the Jewels on Black round robin. It took me a while to bead the butterfly, it was my first attempt at it. I hope she likes it.

Wendy's Jewels on Black RR Block

An unexpected day off work today gave me time to work on the first of the Jewels on Black Round Robin Blocks. I started with Wendy's Block. She loves peacocks, so that was added of course. I used the tutorial found here.

It turned out nice if I say so myself.   I will definitely try this again on another block.
