Last Project Post for 2010

We are on our way to a New Year's Eve Party tonight at a friend's. Not too wild, probably play some games, laugh and eat. I did not buy anything new to wear, but decided to get out my beads and make a new bracelet. I saw one similiar in a magazine and tried to copy it. I am very pleased with it.

Shipshewana Gingerbread Houses

We visited my dad over Christmas. On the way home we stopped in Shipshewana. The annual Gingerbread House Contest was on and Fuzzy snapped these pics with his new digital SLR. The first is my favorite and I believe it also won first prize. Some great ideas to try sometime.

Funky Purse

One of the crackers I was to send was for Colleen in Nebraska. She stated that she liked "funky" as a theme. I decided to make her a purse as a gift. Now that she has received it I can post it here. I really had fun with it, and she did like it!

Cracker 2

Cracker 2 was opened Christmas Day. It was from Josie, in Texas. The first thing I noticed was the cover with the spider spelling out Merry Christmas! Inside was a treasure of lovely things. Laces, buttons, threads, fabrics, beads, and a pretty silkie. Lastly, she included a recipe card with a map of Texas on it as a momento.  Thank you Josie!

Cracker 1

I opened 1 of the 2 Christmas Crackers I received through CQI. This is what I received from Meg in South America.  I really liked the lace piece, chocolate and pretty yellow ribbon. Thank You, Meg.
