Spring Training

My hubbie, Fuzzy is a big baseball fan, as evidenced by his four team tattoos on his forearms. He had only dreamed about the opportunity of attending a Spring Trainging game. He was able to attend two in Florida. He saw the Detroit Tigers game in Lakeland while I attended my conference. Later I went with him to a game at the Astros stadium, the visiting Tigers won, 9-1.

Shell World

We enjoyed Shell World. Here I am in the shell-covered golf cart. They had wonderful selection of sea shells, star fish, and sand dollars that I purchased to use on my crazy quilting.

Fuzzy and the Pirate

 

March is marching away.

I can't believe it is almost a month since I last posted. It has been a busy month, Fuzzy had a lot of doctor appointments and I worked a lot to make up for the time I took off. We were able to sneak away to Florida for 8 days. I attended a conference and Fuzzy was able to relax. We visited friends, went to an art fair, and attended baseball games. Hopefully we will be able to go back next year. Here is Fuzzy against a palm tree the day we left. When we returned to Michigan, we were greated with an ice storm!

Tea Time Round Robin

Another Round Robin is starting soon, this time with a tea time theme. I just finished piecing this one tonight and will mail it out to start it's journey tomorrow.

Wendy's Winter/Holiday Block

Wendy requested blue and white for her blocks. Here is my completed block. I took it with me to work on at the hospital today. Fuzzy is doing well and was taken out of ICU and put on the cardiac ward.

Super Bowl/Super Spouse

For Super Bowl Sunday I found this cute embroidery design here. I embroidered my hubbie this sweatshirt to wear today. It was a stressful week, as we found out  that he is going in for heart surgery on Tuesday. He will have 3-4 heart bypasses. Prayers are appreciated.
