My Fairy Blocks Fly Home

I was so excited to receive my blocks home from the fairy round robin. These are the results. Thanks to Lorrie, Laurie, Wendy, Peggy, and Rita.

This is a closeup of some OYA flowers added by Rita. They are a freestanding needlework flower. I believe their origin is Turkey. Aren't they lovely?

Labor Day Flashback

I have been remiss on posting over the summer due to my work schedule. It is much reduced now so I am trying to catch up. Over Labor Day we were able to take a 4 day trip to Northern Indiana. We stayed just over the border in Three Rivers, MI. and we were able to meet some friends from Illinois to share the weekend with us. Sheryl is a friend from college and her husband Paul. We brought our bikes and were able to relax and explore the area, drove into Amish country in Indiana, and had a great time.

Little Red Riding Hood

Rita completed work on my Little Red Riding Hood block. She choose this one as her maiden name was Wolf!  I think it's terrific, especially the bunny and the basket!  Here is the before and after.
